Our story

Rankin Carroll & Associates Pty Ltd Chartered Accountants was established over 50 years ago by Don Rankin and his brother. Today, the principals of the firm are Kel Rankin, Martyn Carroll and Kristie Carroll (Rankin), all chartered accountants with over 50 years combined experience. Our firm consists of three principals, four accounting staff and one administration staff.

Kel Rankin

Kel has been involved in the accounting industry since 1989. He is currently involved in providing business services to a wide array of clients in industries including manufacturing, transport, building and construction, professional services, primary production, medical practitioners, retail, wholesalers, real estate, property development, information technology and self-managed superannuation funds.

Martyn Carroll

B.COM, CA
Martyn has been involved in the accounting industry since 1996. He is currently involved in providing business services to small and medium businesses in various industries including primary production, building and construction, manufacturing, transport, professional services, information technology, media services and self-managed superannuation funds.

Kristie Carroll (Rankin)

B.COM, CA, JP
Kristie has been involved in the accounting industry since 1995 and currently acts as the firm's practice manager. She provides accounting services to small and medium businesses, including payroll services (such as payroll tax, workers compensation, termination of employment, etc.) and is also involved with client’s international tax dealings.

Margaret Keenan

Margaret is a senior accountant and has over 20 years of service with our firm. She has been involved in the accounting industry for over 20 years and assists the principals in providing taxation and business services to a large range of clients.

Stephen Ha

B.BUS, CA
Steve commenced working with our firm in 2004 whilst studying at university. He started as a trainee accountant and has now progressed to assisting the principals in providing taxation and business services to a large range of clients.

Melissa Stuart

B.COM, CPA
Melissa has been involved in the accounting industry for over 20 years. She initially commenced her employment with us at Liverpool and returned in 2011. She is a senior accountant, and her area of expertise is self-managed superannuation funds.

Rae Louise Enno

B.Com
Rae Louise joined our firm in 2015 and works alongside the principals in providing taxation and business services to our clients.

Administration and bookkeeping staff

Katrina Cassaniti

Katrina is our receptionist and administration manager. She has been a loyal member of our firm since 2000.
